Loss of elasticity of the skin in the abdominal region and laxity of the musculature may be helped by abdominoplasty, more commonly referred to as a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck is not a remedy for dietary indiscretion, but affords relief for patients who have overhanging abdominal skin as the result of weight loss or multiple pregnancies. Some patients require neither a breast augmentation or breast reduction, but simply have lost elasticity of the skin, usually after pregnancy or weight loss. For these patients, a breast lift is the ideal procedure.

A breast lift (mastopexy) removes excess skin that has been stretched during pregnancy or weight fluctuation. The amount of skin removed is related to the degree of drooping of the breasts. Breast implants may by used if the breasts have lost substance.

Breast Reduction Surgery

Women choose breast reduction surgery for a variety of reasons. For example, the weight of enlarged, pendulous breasts (mammary hyperplasia) can pull down on the bra straps, which can be very uncomfortable and also cause an indentation in the skin on the shoulder. In addition, along with shoulder and back pain, the surface under the breast may rub against the chest skin and cause an irritating rash. Some women even experience difficulty breathing because of enlarged breasts.

Breast Augmentation (Saline and Silicone Implants)

As the name indicates, breast augmentation improves both size and appearance of the breasts. You may consider having breast augmentation if you feel that your breasts are too small, to correct a size discrepancy between the breasts, or for reconstruction following other breast surgery. Eyelid surgery

Baggy eyelids are not always a byproduct of aging. Heredity sometimes plays a role. Lower lid bags are caused by fat that protrudes from under the eyelid skin. In upper lids, redundancy of the skin may be more severe, obscuring the natural crease and interfering with vision. Removal of this excess skin can both improve your vision and enhance your appearance.

If you also have drooping brow skin, a brow lift can provide additional benefits.
